ROLE: UX JOURNEY B2B, USER FLOW, PROTOTYPING AND VISUAL DESIGN
Kombo Tool is a platform created by Coca-Cola to help small businesses (B2B centered)—mainly restaurants, snack shops, and convenience stores—boost their online sales. It allows users to combine Coca-Cola products with their menu items, turning them into images and digital menus that can be shared on delivery apps, social media, or displayed in-store.
The platform existed before, but our design team was asked to review and completely rethink the user experience. The original journey wasn’t clear enough, and users struggled to complete tasks.
Our strategy was to create strong UX writing to guide users step by step, making sure they felt supported throughout their journey. We restructured the menu into clear sections, explaining exactly what users could find in each one. We also broke down the navigation into steps, providing visual feedback to help users track their progress and understand how long it would take to complete tasks.
The platform's main features include tips for users, create "kombos" (promotional images combining Coca-Cola products with dishes), offer discounts on beverages, and create digital menus and flyers showcasing Coca-Cola products and promotions. Users can also access Coca-Cola’s current advertising campaigns to display in their businesses.
The site is currently under development, with parts of the redesign already live. You can check it out here.
